Black Wall St. DC – Operation Save DC!

Virtual Launch Event
4PM – 8PM

You are invited to a celebration of love, spirit, and legacy as we honor the incredible, historical creation of the original “Black Wall Street”, a thriving Greenwood District in Tulsa, Oklahoma which was founded by wealthy educator, entrepreneur, and landowner, O.W. Gurley in 1906. This self-sufficient Black community featured over 35 blocks of Black-owned businesses. In 1921 racial tensions resulted in the looting, burning, and destruction of Black homes and businesses by a white mob in what is called the “Tulsa Race Massacre”.

Join us for an afternoon filled with inspiration, reflection, and community as we virtually celebrate the launch of “Black Wall St. DC – Operation Save DC” a “movement” in the Nation’s Capital spearheaded by Ms. Brenda Eason, CEO and founder of the Black Business Owners Network (BBON).

This event will pay homage to the legacy and rebirth of Black economic wealth, renaissance, and prosperity.
