Thank you for your financial support of my intended 2026 run for DC Mayor. Although the next DC Mayoral election will not be held until November 2026, my efforts to successfully become DC’s next Mayor will require a solid strategy, of which I have identified several qualified professionals, firms, and subject matter experts who have expressed an interest in joining my efforts. Additionally, there are over 300,000 registered DC voters who have become unengaged with the current climate of DC politics, and its current repetitive leadership representations.
Your financial support will ensure my campaign’s implementation of a sound “exploratory” committee, office, and staff that has already begun efforts on my behalf, to begin soliciting donations, polling DC’s approximately 500,000 registered voters, as well as establish solid “grassroots” messaging, and an unwavering foundational base.
Determining the feasibility of my success as a candidate is expected to be met with favorable results, given my current professional and community relationships within the DC community. As a DC native, my experience, and knowledge of DC’s evolving landscape gives me great opportunity to help unite DC citizens around many ongoing sensitive subject matters such as misappropriated tax payer dollars, failing support programs, gentrification, increased public safety concerns, mental health, and drug reform, proper investments in DC’s youth, as well as equitable healthcare and wealth exposures.
My campaign is expected to solicit contributions from members throughout the DMV area, to include disadvantaged DC constituents, women, small business owners, DC workers, and citizens who live abroad, small business owners, non-DC citizens, community stakeholders, and persons such as yourself, a “changemaker”.

Dr. Hamilton’s Recap…
In 2022, I joined the DC Mayoral election 130 days prior to the “general” election date. My work as a mental health advocate and 501(c)(3) non-profit President, in communities across the District affords me a “front row” seat to the breakdown of the current administration’s policies, as well as the disengagement of DC voters. Statistically, DC has over 300,000 registered voters who are not voting. The increasing crime, drug abuse, fraudulent housing practices, repeated inaction, and missteps of District elected officials for matters that continue to diminish the resolve, and instill fear for so many families, seniors, and children in our dear Nation’s Capital, are just a few reasons why I agreed to step forward.
Many of the existing DC elected officials are expected to also challenge DC’s current Mayor in 2026. This is concerning, primarily because many of my anticipated opposing candidates are already serving on the DC Council with track records for disregarding the true concerns of District citizens, and residents. I am running to win, by challenging the status quo!
The current Mayor has served three terms, as a Democrat, and has won her last 2 elections with less than 50% of the DC’s registered voter population. This is very telling when you consider that DC is a heavily pronounced Democratic city. The opportunity to bring change, as well as to advance forward-thinking policy making and to help bridge the divide between District residents living in the East and West sectors of the city, fuels my excitement and passion as a leader.
It will take solid, dedicated supporters, engaged and motivated District voters, as well as a candidate who can navigate the Nation’s Capital successfully on the ground, and as the Chief Executive Officer of the DC government to bring real and proper change to the Nation’s Capital.
