Amidst the continued push for federal takeover of DC from republican lawmakers and the President, and under the veil of complicit fear and unaccountable leadership from DC’s current mayor, Rhonda is the voice and the leader that has stepped forward to lead DC out of the false narratives and unhealthy demonstrations of political oppression and disregard for the over 700,000 citizens that call DC home.

Rhonda says, “On day one I will call for an audit of DC’s systems, agency by agency, to help clean up the budget, remove the priorities given to big business, restore the citizens’ voice, and help to strengthen the lobbying efforts around the fight to #SaveDC!”

We are DC! Rhonda is DC! As a native and proud daughter of a military veteran, Rhonda knows that true pride comes when every DC citizen feels protected, respected, has clean, habitable, affordable housing, stable work, healthcare, access to skilled education, and sustainable wealth-building opportunities.

Among DC’s strongest assets are its small business owners, diverse communities, and rich legacy of perseverance. In November 2026 DC citizens will vote for a new leader. That leader is Dr. Rhonda L. Hamilton. A leader that is steeped in love of community, a facilitator of bringing great minds together, and a product of a genuine, authentic DC public school as well as advanced education, and valuable lived experience. She is rooted and ready to serve.

On Saturday, December 6, 2025 Rhonda is “calling all hearts” to the District of Columbia.
